Discover the story of Thomas Becket’s murder, on a Private Guided Tour around Canterbury Cathedral and see the oldest stained glass windows in the whole world! Explore medieval Rye on foot – attacked by the French, the town is perched on the hillside and was once surrounded by the sea. It’s quaint old streets are full of history and tales of smuggling. Climb to the top of Mermaid Street, stop for breather, where the Hawkhurst Gang met with their pistols on the table and find out more about a grisly murder in the churchyard!

Explore local villages such as Wye or Chilham, both set at the foot of the North Downs in Kent. Chilham Castle Gardens were designed by the famous gardener ‘Capability’ Brown and Chilham village itself looks as if it has stepped out of the Tudor period.
